2 things - real quick!
I am at the amazing UCSD library right now using one of their internet connected computers. My daugther is at another, sending in her intention to register - she is in love with this place - Woo-hoo!
I am in love with this place, too. I was able to run on the beach today - in the sunshine! It is beautiful down here. There were tons of surfers in the water and it was just perfect. I can't say much for my pace but I wasn't really focused on that. I was focused on the sounds and the smells and the fact that it was sunny and warm. Sun....mmmmmmmmmmmmmm....sun. Love that. Apparently it is raining and gross up where I live.
Second of all - I went to a book signing by Dean Karnazes, The Ultra Marathon Man on Thursday night. He was amazing. The man ran 350 contiguous miles and lived to tell the tale. I have hot tips for you! But I need to move along so stay tuned.

Oh, I love San Diego. I envy your run! I saw Karnazes last year here in D.C. Very engaging fellow.
