A Different Kind of Workout
We had a power outtage yesterday that lasted just long enough to force us to reset all of the clocks. This included the alarm clock next to my bed. I set it last night at around 10 and then set the alarm to go off at 5AM. I was very careful to make sure it was 5AM and not 5PM because I really, really wanted to go swimming at 5:30.
Imagine my dismay when I woke up at 5:50. ###@!!&@ How did THAT happen? It happened because I set the clock to 10 AM at 10 PM. grrrrr... So, instead of going swimming I ended up getting my exercise wandering all over Pasadena (where I flew for a 2 hour meeting) in these:
And now I have to put 8 miles on my poor barking dogs tomorrow morning.
The things we do for vanity.

I'm sure your dogs will be stronger for wearing those - really!

Forgive me, but...LOL! If I had a dime for every time I've done similar things (especially thinking I've set the alarm for AM but, uh, NOT!), I'd be so wealthy I'd be paying somebody else to type this for me.And I decided it would be a good idea to wear Crazy Talk heels to walk around Solvang last year. Oh yes. GREAT idea. 4-1/2" heels. Walking tour of Solvang. Considering that I NEVER EVER wear heels...what I was thinking the world may never know...

That clock thing will kill ya everytime...i've done it many many times. the key of course, is to set your internal clock! Let me know when you figure that one out....hey, at least those sweet shoes weren't stilettos!

That was a lot of downhill training in Pasadena. Try running on the flats tomorrow morning.

David said to try running on flats. I think you should try walking on flats. Hee hee. I just don't do the heel thing anymore. I hope your dogs and ankles forgive you.

Oh honey...but your feet looked FABULOUS in them. Forget about the pain. The trials we endure make our feet so much stronger!

What we do for beauty! Do love the shoes, tho. The alarm clock debacle is the worst. I hate when that happens. I hope your 8 miler wasn't so bad (and hot).
