yes that all very upsetting...but really...if I could have an airbrusher/editor follow me around all day long 'enhancing me' I'd probably be in heaven. For example...he/she could erase the half of my ass that makes me look like I'm wearing someone else's ass...he/she could erase the bags under my eyes that have developed because I haven't slept since 9th grade. Sigh...why can't poor peons have editors?

Actually, no, I like her better before they made her plastic. Its a crime that so many young girls base their image of beauty on something that isn't even real. A photo of a Barbie would be closer to reality. NAZIS!

Okay, this is a warning, I am going to vent a little here: I clicked over the to numbered photo and the descriptions below it. I was horrified of the comments from whomever typed below. Can't women just wrinkle, gain a little weight, slouch...or whatever else? We are human too and I hate the expectations of what is "required" to be considered beautiful. It's just sick. There is more to beauty than magazine covers. If we demand this of Faith, do we demand it of ourselves too? Not me. Sure, I'd like to lose a little weight, firm up here and there, but I also want to grow old and not be judged for the crows feet around my eyes. Wouldn't it be nice if people looked at those crows feet and thought that they showed beauty because they meant that the owner smiled and laughed often. A happy person IS beautiful.
Okay...I feel better now. :)

This rampant airbrushing in magazines is one reason why the plastic surgery industry is BOOMING. For both sexes! Jamie Lee Curtis spoke out about celebrity mags' propensity to airbrush as well, several years ago.

Also, when you look at Faith's arm in the untouched photo, then again in the airbrushed photo, her arm looks very strange. Like an alien's arm.
