one of my mom's favorites was: "i didn't just fall off the turnip truck" ... powerless to stop them, i have found these same words falling out of my mouth - my kids just look at me completley perplexed. what's a turnip truck?

i never practiced the flute and had to flute-sync my way through the 6th grade concert. mr hair (his real name) was not fooled.
