New haircut? I like the new, shorter look, though you are one of those lucky ones that appear to have "good hair" that fits your face regardless of style. Lucky, lucky.
Oh I think it looks cute! Although I always wonder when I see athletes with hair that length if it is a pain to deal with (too long to do nothing with, too short for a pony tail).
