Panama 1990
Drawn while on a police action in Panama just shortly after 'Operation Just Cause'.
All Hallow's Eve Where are the heads? They're all in a sack.	Snake Charmer Inspired by the locale. Lots of snakes, trees and odd stuff.	Peace Fish Drawn for a friend back home that had commented on everything having a peace sign in it somewhere. Her statement was, "Next thing you know, you'll be drawing peace fish..."
Mediterranean Sea 1991
Drawn while on a 'Med Cruise' in 1991. Shortly after arriving, we headed off to Turkey to be involved in the Desert Storm mop up. At the same time, we had some serious problems going on in my unit that ended in three of our staff NCO's and officers being courtmarshalled.
Jesus Christ I was experimenting with drawing skulls. Got a little out of hand with the comments on the drawing though.	Filth Stream of consciousness list of words. Notice how much I rely on spell check!	Hook, Line & Sinker Thanks for nothing. My disgust with the military might machine had almost reached a climax at this point. Not to mention my personal disgust for being suckered into it. This was drawn shortly before debarking and heading overland to Silopi, Turkey to do only God knew what.
Civilian I don't know how this one got started, or what it was supposed to be. The face is very 'Mansonesque' though.	Masks I had some fascination with masks. In addition, I liked lines and circles.	Kings Highway Surprisingly done while sober.
This Train Another oddly sober drawing.	Mr. Sun Lt. Coloumbie was Mr. Sun. This bright shinny guy broke so many of my friends. Each one of the bodies cowering was someone that had cracked and gone UA.
Trans-Atlantic 1991
These are post-Gulf War drawings, done while we headed back to the states. Most of them don't have the angst that was present in the pre-war drawings.
Icons Two icons that were used to represent myself and a good friend of mine.	Patterns Just random lines and squigles.
North Carolina 1991
More mellow non-angst drawings. These were all done shortly after returning to the states from the Middle East.
Firedance A reproduction of a drawing I did on a wall in an abandoned Iraqi military building. I spent several weeks working on it using grease pencil. I wouldn't be surprised if it's still there.	A Butterfly Beginning of another concentric line drawing.
Drugs
Not something I'm proud of, but I thought to include these since they show a difference between my sober work and chemically induced art. These were all done after the above works, so no, the above art isn't flashback related.
