Whee!

How were the crowds? I don't see a single spectator in those shots. I hope the turnout was good.

I've often wondered how good a spectator sport cycling really is. Do you get more than a minute of action? With point-to-point racing, the race only passes you once....

i hop-scotched along the course. i'd sit and wait at one spot, then tear up a parallel highway to the next intersection.

the finishline had big screens to watch the coverage on. that would have been nice. the last stage had a couple circuits of the downtown alpharetta area. in cases like that, you get to see them go by several times.
