here's a picture looking up back bay, inland. if you look closely (it was fairly smoggy inland) you can just barely make out the san gabriel mountains and the snow on mt. san antonio. the water in the bay is usually kinda murky, but that's normal for a salt marsh. this photo, while nothing special, showcases the bow of the ss able soufay. notice the abominal bumble bee yellow colour of the hull.

the only other shot i have of the kayak is looking back at smsmh while we were on the water. you can see some of the hull, part of the stern and if you look closely at smsmh's glasses, more of the bow. i do realize just how hard it is to focus on the kayak in this photo, since smsmh's beauty outshines everything else...
