well, i had every intention of coming up with some witty way of comparing all of the blogs and entries i was going to profile with a character from the foundation of the usa, in a tribute to the celebrating of the american independence day. but, no matter how i try, i just can't seem to get the creative juices flowing this morning (not to mention that a handful of this weeks bloggers aren't even american). maybe i'll be more entertaining on my next go-round of hosting this thing.
but anyway, here's this week's shout-out:
spring is tri season, and the running blog community has been treated to some amazing race reports this past month. warren, jank and ab have all shared with us their first tri experiences, and in one case, have treated us to bringing home hardware.
next, i have to mention the rbf and the little race that we'll be gathering at this coming december. several running bloggers have committed to running the race, so follow along as folks like sd, rionna, front range runner and keith begin their journey towards the start line.
continuing with exposing the great group of blogging runners from down under, i'd like to introduce you to aki, running and studying and her mentor, flashduck. i don't know how those aussies and kiwis do it, running upside-down all the time...
and finally, most of the running blog community already knows alison, but have you met her cat, izzy? who needs garlic or wooden stakes when you've got a hunter like that?!
until next time, run strong!

Posted by: susan at July 5, 2005 11:05 AMSounds like it's been a busy season for everyone! Thanks for the links to other runners and triathletes! I'm always on the lookout for more people to study from and read about.
Oh, and the mention of my medal? Yeah, I'm blushing. :)
