early night

going to try to get into bed early tonight.  i'm headed out at zero dark thirty in the morning tomorrow to take part in the topanga canyon turkey trot.  i'm doing the shorter 10k option, but i'll go long on sunday, too.  a good blog friend, hardtopronouncepolishnamehead (htppnh) is in town from austin and we're going to try to tackle her first trail race.

it should be a great race, but it means leaving the house no later than 5am tomorrow.  eep!  better carb load early tonight!
