6.30am Friday morning I headed out for the rest of my tempo run. It was much nicer weather this morning. I did a local loop around my neighbour hood at is 8k, I figured I would do 7ish kms and walk the last one, I haven't been cooling down after a run, just collapsing!
The run went well, I felt good, I kept running which for me running by myself is a feat in itself. When I got the last km I was tempted to keep running, I still had a bit of energy I could have used up, but decided to stop and walk in out. Once I did stop I notice how quickly I could feel my leg muscles tighten. By the time I got home they were in need of a good stretch.
