taste test
I am on a quest for the perfect marathon snack.
1. It needs to be portable (coke, the drink is perfect, but not portable)
2. small enough to fit into those tiny pockets in my shorts
3. high in sugar
4. tasty
5. something I am willing to sacrifice to the cause ... after the marathon I will probably never want to eat it again.
I bought an assortment of jelly bellys today, I think they could work ... my favourite so far is red apple.

try Stinger honey gel packets, they are sweet and pack a punch.

Sour gummy bears! I brought them for my marathon. They don't taste sour at all when you are running (don't know why) and they have lots of sugar and fit in the pockets. Try them on a long run.
