sidelined

at least for a few days.

I did my 18 miler Saturday morning, my legs felt great, cardio was good, but my foot was a problem.

It's the outside of my foot from the mid point of the heel to the mid point of the arch. It not plantar fasciitis, there is no pain on the bottom of the foot in the arch. It's the opposite side of the foot from the heel spur pain that's been there for the past two month ... the good news is this pain has overthrown the other pain! It hurt so much on Sunday I actually thought about going to the ER to have it checked out.

So I went to physio this afternoon. He doesn't think it's a stress fracture which is what I was fearing. It has something to do with the heel spurs and some big word I can't remember. I have to ice, do stretches and exercises with a band and no running for two more days. Monitor the pain and go back on Thursday.

Tonight I am off to see Sir Elton John! Hold me close now Tony Danza or (Tiny Dancer) as some like to say!
