I was watching the weather on CNN or some other channel in the hotel last week while I was in the USA, I noticed that after a weather pattern gets to Detroit in drops off into a big black hole. Like there is nothing there ... I know there is something there ... normally me and a little place called Canada. I found it really strange that like we didn't exist.
This is totally my fault. The first time I went to Vegas? It rained all weekend, too. It's like the desert is mocking me. Really, though, I'm just glad it'll be warmer than 20 degrees.
well, you could say some prayers....

oh goodness. having lived in vegas for 7 years, i can tell you that it rains an average of 4 inches per year.
and that usually comes at 2 inches at a time and the entire valley floods because of it.
however, i would be willing to bet you are going to be fine. just fine. keep checking that weather!
I was in the US in the winter of 2001, and while visiting the Grand Canyon and some trips to the Mohave (Joshua Tree, etc), it SNOWED most of the time!
It could be worse. ;-)
this forecast is definitely warmer than last year. prepare for the most ugliest landscape run from approx mile 10 to 18, the only fun parts were when some of the residents came out outside in their robes to wave(probly an after thought when they picked up the paper).
