13 then 14

When I started Julyathon, I was positive that running before work would not be a problem. I like morning running. But what I've learned is, I can't jump out of bed and run. I need to be awake and walk around for a while to allow some kinda circulation to happen.

If I run at 6.15 ... I need to wake up ... and get up ... at 5.30am. That's just not happening. What is happening is the alarm going off and me listing reasons why I should hit snooze just one more time. I list very convincing reasons.

I got run 13 in yesterday afternoon. Since I didn't do in before work and I was going out for Friday drinks at 5.30 I had to leave work mid-afternoon to fit in my 5k.

The sacrificies I make!

Run 13
Distance: 5k
Time: 33 minutes
Tired, legs and me from start to finish

Next week I am going to have to work on scheduling runs, life and work.

Run 14
Distance: 5k
Time: 29.44 minutes
better than yesterday, faster pace due to running through pitbull land

I am having a lazy day of doing nothing but preparing for tomorrow's long run (14 miles).

I am so amazed that you keep going. Just think halfway to your goal!
