24 and 25
Last night we did parloff relays at speedwork. The track is 400m around a football field. You do a 200m sprint, hand off to your partner, they do the next 200m and you run across the field so they can off to you ... then do it all over again ... and again ... for 25 minutes. The first 10 laps felt great, then suddenly the trip across the field seem tougher and your partner seems to be there a lot soon!
It was a great workout, I did a total of 14 x 200m. It made a nice change, it was kinda mindless, you just ran.
Then I was up again this morning for run 25. I did the 5k route from home. Julyathon is changing how I think and feel about running. I don't really think about it, I know i have to do it, so I just do. If it feels bad I slow down rather than stop and decide to forget the run. I think I am really liking Julyathon today.
I had the rest of the day off so me and bff Mary did a little retail therapy across the border. Purchases included a new pair of Adidas flip flops with memory foam (like the mattress) they are heaven. Time to change and head off to BBQ and pool party and N and Gs!

Less than a week left. It'll be interesting to hear your thoughts when it's over. You're proof that once you have the habit, it becomes part of your daily routine...something that you HAVE to do. Of course, for many people getting into the habit is hard enough.

I am SO impressed by how you've stuck with Julyathon. It is seriously inspiring. I have no doubt that you'll make it!
