every rose has its thorn

I ended my last post a little abruptly. I wish I could say it was for something even marginally important.

It wasn’t.

The post should of concluded with me telling you what I am doing – not doing

So, here it is

Rest.

6 weeks of rest.

Nothing high impact on my foot. I’ve signed up for a 5k race on March 21, which isn’t quite 6 weeks, more like 4, but I think this would be a good goal to test out the rested foot.

In the mean time ….

I can swim, weight-train, cycle, do yoga, and drink alcohol.

P.O.M
– I am loving the rehab idea, either Betty or Promises work for me, I would like somewhere warm so I can work on my tan!

CONFESSION ...

While writing the post, I was also watching TV, I changed the channel and found ‘The Rock of Love”. A new reality show where the lead singer of Poison looks for love. Think the bachelor circa 1984. Twenty something years have not been kind Bret.

Since 1986 when MTV introduced the world to the blue-eyed lead singer of Poison, women around the world have worshiped Bret Michael's as a veritable Rock God. Never out of the spotlight, Bret is still...

Living in 1984!

The best part, apart from the stripper pole and fake tan, is when he asks them to stay … He says …

Will you Rock my World?

Sorry I ran. I messed up the whole plan. Don't worry, I'm sure I'll backslide soon. Definatly a place to work on our tans.

I was sooo addicted to Rock of Love. But my bf HATES it, and since I can only watch cable shows at his house, I am assed out. The girls are seriously the biggest tramps. It's like watching a whore-a-licous trainwreck to a porno convention.

Oh, dear Brett Michaels. I always loved how he would say, "With you Rock my World?" very clever!

I mean WILL ... not WITH.

Wouldn't you have to be drinking heavily rock his world? I don't think you should dry up just yet. :D

Rest up and take care of your foot! When I was off for 4 weeks with a sprained ankle I used the eliptical, kept my cardio up without impact.

Hot dang! I'll be taking a pole dancing class this weekend and I'll have that image in my head!

I watch that stupid show all the time. My hubby hates it so much but sometimes its just so addicting! "Will you rock me world?" How cheesy can you get?
