I had a good run. Finally. It seems like ages since I could say that.
We were supposed to do our long run yesterday, but the weather stopped that. I got up Sunday morning, looked out, a little rain, but otherwise it looked okay. I got dressed and headed out. That's when I realized it wasn't just a little rain, it was ice rain. I couldn't get to my car. The driveway was thick with shiny ice.
Devasting! Yippee. Ice day. Back upstairs I went. Off with my running clothes on with sweats.
This morning was mild and most of the ice was melted. There were a few slippery spots but the roads were quiet due to the holiday. I got almost 9 miles in. My foot was a little tender, but nothing like it normally is. I am wondering if the snow and bad footing that we have been running on is what is causing or irritating my foot?
I also listened to my Ipod during the run, which I never do. I knew there would be no one running this morning around my pace so I thought it would help distract me. It did. Thank you Dylan, Miko, Aerosmith and Fergie.

More than I can say...swimming tomorrow a.m. , maybe a run in the afternoon????
Way to get'er done!
Yay for good runs!
Have you seen the new D&G ad with Matthew...? (http://teamsugar.com/group/124906/blog/1052538) Yum!
I'm off running this week while I get my anemia under control, but I hope to be able to say the same thing next week (the "finally had a good run!" part, I mean).
I don't know. What's snow? Ice?
Nice 9 miles. Fergie would distract me too.
