I love british films.
Not period dramas about royals or writers, but films set in modern day featuring ordinary characters. Ordinary characters that swear, smoke, drink with little to no fashion sense. The type of characters that appear pathetic and hopeless in the first 10 minutes, but soon become charming. Like Hugh Grant in just about everything.
So I am super bloody excited that about this ....
british, funny and marathon training ... you see you don't always need a shirtless-tanned-Matty to make me excited ... although it doesn't hurt!

I dont mean to rain on your parade, but its not nearly as good as it seems. I looooooooooooooove Simon Pegg, and I swear Hot Fuzz made me wet myself laughing, as did Shaun of the Dead, but this honestly seemed like like a big formulaic advert for Nike and Michelob Ultra. We were horribly disappointed.
My challenge to you is to see if you can count how many times these brands are name checked and/or appear on the screen during the movie.

I loved this movie! It might not be as funny as Hot Fuzz, but it was still a great movie :)
i saw this with karin (lookie, she's right above me!) and andy when i was over there in september. oh, ali, it's brilliant. i think you'll love seeing simon pegg shirtless.
