progress...me?? no way!!
tomorrow i have to run 6 miles. my reaction? "meh. no big deal"
HA! six weeks ago the thought of having to run 6 miles made me want to curl up in a ball and cry in the corner, but now, NOW, running "just six miles" is a relief... its "not that bad/far"... its... well by jove, its a miracle!
looking back at my running times, i have progressed in the following way
first 6 miler (was actually 6.2, and yes, it makes a difference) : 1:13:47
second 6 miler (this time running sans team) : 1:14:47
third 6 miler (again, 6.2 and WITH the team) : 1:10:05
ummm... that, my friends, is what we call PROGRESS!!!!!!!!!!!!! yesssss.... i am zee champion!!
so what do i say to tomorrow's six mile run??!! bring. it. on.
(but dont hurt me please!)

and p.s. (sorry to hog your comments field): I notice all the TNT-ers actually do weight training, which I have blissfully ignored since it's Not on the Schedule. But you guys/gals make me nervous with all your weight training shenanigans. I should so be doing that. argh! another thing to freak out about!

oh my god, we're on the exact same schedule!! My run tomorrow is only six miles, too! After 12 last week. Except for one tiny difference: I can't possibly run six miles. See? You are so way beyond me because you are actually sane (no offense to anyone!)so you go grrl! you are amazing!
