Good luck! Can't wait to read your race report. The only Krav Maga studio here is located at around 76th and Quivira. On Saturday mornings from 11-1pm (I think every week) they do an intro course for $20.00. If you join, they credit that $20 as part of the registration fee. Let me know if you want add'l info.Glad to hear that you found the Sports Medicine Store! Again, GOOD LUCK!!

A. I can't begin to explain how awesome it is for those of us who have been following your progress and working toward our own first marathons to be able to sneak a peek at your world. Maybe you've done this already, but take a minute or two to compare the last three photos you've posted on your site profile. Yeah, there's the obvious she's sorta cute in a sister kind of way to she's a fantastic babe transformation, but there's also a much deeper, longer lasting change that is obvious not only in what you've written but also in your eyes. You're different. Today, you're different. Yeah, the marathon is HUGE, but you're already "on the other side." It's like high school or college. You have the big graduation ceremony with the balloons and the diploma but the work's been done before that. The marathon is the culmination of all the work you've already done. You've made it. Have fun. Kick some ass. And then, when it's done, continue forward knowing that the person that began this journey is gone. You are a runner!
