HAPPY THANKSGIVING to those of you celebrating this weekend!!!! the turkey! the stuffing! the pie! the lonely nights in front of your tv with a sappy movie and ordered-in chinese!!!! ... huh. wait...what? that doesn't seem right...
oooh, yes, its all so clear now.... i'm the only one who's family decided to take that old saying "to each his own" to the next level... i got my mom down in mexico, my dad down in ft. worth, and i'm stuck in.... kansas city.
ah. its just as well. i've got lots to do, like...... laundry. and..... hanging stuff up on my walls?!! (oh dear. a.maria needs a life.)
hmmm.
anyhow, a great big celebratory happy thanksgiving comin' at ya.
stay safe. stay warm. and eat a piece of pie for me!

Thanks for saying hi. I hope you had a great Thanksgiving--we have so much to be thankful for this year...we had the ability to run a marathon. Wow! Sometimes i still can't believe it. :)

AGH! It's the eyes guy again! Man, Brent - it took like half the day to get un-creeped out by that pic last time! Guh..OK and hermanita - that's about the saddest thing I've ever heard. No friends to hang with today??? I can't believe it!

thanks for droppin' by my blog. look forward to catchin' up with you through yours too... i thought of you when i was on my turkey trot today... there was a woman in lime green that passed me at a rapid pace, and i thought somethin' like "oh yah, little miss lime green runner pants"... HR went way up chasin' her!

i went through something similar two years ago. mom was in alaska, dad in colorado, brother in mexico. and me? at home on thanksgiving day with a large sausage/mushroom/olive papa john's pizza. yeah... not so good with the whole cooking thing here.
