i mean i know i'm not the only one, but, come on already ya know?
so... like i said. i never check my mail.
except..... those nights when i do.
tonight was one of those nights.
it was actually more of a damn. i haven't checked my mail in forever and seriously? where is my tax return? maybe its here! lets go check kind of delusional few minutes... but regardless, i checked my mail.
and?
damn IRS sucks. no check yet.
HOWEVER!!!! today. this fourth day of the fifth month... exactly one month before the day i conquer my second marathon...
i got something even better.
i got my Rock'n'Roll Marathon Confirmation Card.
i got my Race Number.
i got chills. and i can't wait.
Rock'n'Roll San Diego...
ready or not..... HERE. I. COME.
(and lookie there... they even know me by name out there!
huh. how 'bout that?!)

That sounds like a really fun race! I wish I could find something like that in NC. Even more of a reason to travel to races! I know you'll have a blast. By the way, I have never seen the word "corral" used for humans. I have corraled the goats but never a person. :)

If you're aiming for 5:00:00, you should run the .00000001 sec/mile faster to break the 5 hour mark. It will be worth the effort to be able to refer to the FOUR hour (and 59 minute) marathon. You still get to say four, instead of five.Sixteen days to the Green Bay half, 22 days to the first triathlon, then it's off and training for the Fox Cities in September.Have fun in your final weeks of training.

me too me too!!! i never, ever check my mail, but did today, and there it was! i don't think i've been this excited about a letter in the mail since...maybe the one that said i was getting into the college i wanted...maybeyou totally stole my post idea too! i even already took pictures of mine!so need to change my start corral though, what was i thinking back in january?
