now *thats* what i'm talking about!

i don't talk much about my involvement with raceAthlete, mostly because i'm the young'n, newbie, not even triathlete yet type in that group (representing the back of the packers with pride!), but...

today's story cannot go unmentioned.

why? because today's story is that of inspiration, struggle, and triumph. its the story of a man who saw his life going in one direction, not being fully satisfied with that direction, and actually doing something about it.

something so many of us can relate to.

i don't want to paraphrase, because i don't want to take anything away from this man's story but, what i will say, is after reading his story and watching his video.. i was moved to tears.

this is something you guys want to check out.

trust me on this one. go read. go watch.

go be inspired.

you'll be glad you did!

I'm glad to know I wasn't the only one who shed a couple of tears! God, I am a sucker for such things.

Thanks for sharing. That is an awesome story and video.

Gosh, that makes any excuse I've ever made pretty flimsy! Thanks for sharing.

AMAZING. I'm in the process of forwarding to friends and co-workers at this very moment.

Wow, AMAZING! Thanks for sharing!

i have a friend who actually weighs more than this guy. i'll have to send him a link to that.

I, too, was moved to tears.

oh my gawd! i hope my comment doesn't get me into trouble!

crying here.

Awesome. It got me balling because my step-dad (who is now in heaven) was overweight and never took charge like this guy. He fought the cancer and won, but had a heartattack because the chemo was too strong and his heart too weak. I wonder if it could have been different if he had been more like Duane.
