Little Miss Runner Pants

this is awesome. my roommate and i are sitting on the couch watching Enemy of the State and updating our blogs.

we ooze cool. you want to be us.

i know.

it happens.

!!!

but i digress.

today... sunday... is a beautiful day.
superb fall weather. crisp, cool air. perfect conditions for a day spent at the park... maybe a good bike ride. an easy 6 mile run...

or, if your Liver Guy, The EW or me...

today might just be the perfect day to crack some nuts.

of the pecan variety.

as you can see, around these parts... we take our nut cracking seriously. after being schooled by Liver Guy in the proper way to choose, crack and peel said nut, LG, being the mad scientist that he is, created the best crack'n'shell-factory-assembly type situation he could, and put us to work.

as we sat around the absurdly small end table, cracking and de-shelling our hearts out in front of the tv, (which we never thought to turn on... again. oozing the cool. see above.), sporatically bursting out into song... and on occasion dance, it occured to us...

we might be lame.

but damn if it ain't fun.

soon afer the photo was taken, however, the EW made off for her own apartment, lunch was upon us and the merry good times came to an end.

fortunately for us, however...

there are plenty more nuts
to be cracked.



i have a feeling we just started a new tradition.

(hopefully though, next time, someone will comment on the state of my hair before the picture is taken...... cuz.. yeah.

i swear i own a brush and a comb.. apparently today i just forgot to use 'em.
