sing and dance!
i dunno what my deal is today... but i can't stop singing.
or dancing.
and i'm less than talented at both.
with the new office move i'm no longer hidden behind a cubicle so my antics are out and about for all to see... my co-worker K-State guy can't stop staring. i'm pretty sure he's convinced there's something wrong with me.
i'm even sporting the white-mans overbite.
its not pretty.
i dunno. for some reason today i feel compelled to move to songs like...
Killing me softly.... Faith..... Ebony & Ivory.... Summer in the City and currently... Livin on a Prayer.
i know. my musical library rocks!!!
but hey...
WE'VE GOT EACH OTHER AND THATS A LOT!!!!!!.....
OOOOOOOOOH, LIVIN ON A PRAYER!!!
wow.
maybe there is something wrong with me?!!?
i just got excited at the sight of Divinyls, I Touch Myself in the musical line-up.
oh its gunna be a good day folks.
a good. day.

Are your eyes closed when you are singing "Killing me softly"? ... that's bad

What, do you work for the government, or something?
It didn't really take anyone THIS long to figure out there is something wrong with you, right? That was a joke, right?
My co-workers have zero question about my being looney. They just have all the wrong reasons figured out.

Now 'killing me softly' is stuck in my head. Thanks.

Livin' on a Prayer was part of my spinning class playlist yesterday. And I just couldn't help singing along (well gasping for air while mouthing the words). And of course, half of the class was not even born when that song was released...

Time to add
"I Believe in Miracles!
Since you came along
You sexy thing
You sexy thing"

my brother and i totally had a moment once, rocking out to Livin on a Prayer in the car. We got to a stop light, where a group of high schoolers spotted us and mocked us. Glorious!

Ah man...Livin on a Prayer rocks...can't be down when Jon is singing!! I need music at my desk. I keep forgetting to bring in new CDs, but my comupter seems to have issues playing CDs and working at the same time...hmm...guess I just can't use it for work!

I highly highly suggest not singing I Touch Myself outloud at work.
Now all you need to do is dress like Cortney Cox (Monica) in the Livin on a Prayer video.
Personally I prefer Shot through the Heart and Its My Life

How about "Very Superstitious" by Stevie Wonder...

We really need to get you out running more!
Start singing Light my fire by the Doors. See what they think then!

Since you have participated in this event before, I DO expect that you are "fist-pumping" in the air when you sing "Wooooahhh!" to that song. It is a DN tradition and because you have karaoke with the DNers, you are now and forever known as the "DN Pal." Work it!
