so entertaining...
omg, i can't stop laughing. i'm in hysterics listening to these people, um... "sing".
*sigh*
oh holy. what i wouldn't give to be a judge for these first few audition days.
i just hope you guys are doing yourselves the favor of tuning into American Idol this week. there are some funky people out there.
this show tends to do wonders for my self esteem.
love it.
*sigh*

I watched tonight. I couldn't beleive it! So Hil-lar-i-ous! I feel bad for some of those awful people! Wow!

Sorry, I can't bring myself to do it. They do look funny though. At the same time, i'd feel bad for their delusional state ... thinking they're good and all.

I am sorry, but if you CAN NOT sing do not go on the show....PERIOD. End of rant!

As one who has not watched American Idol, if I was ever considering it, I am sorry but cannot do so now. When Simon bad mouthed Bob Dylan, he crossed a line that cannot be repaired, replaced or corrected. He compared one of America's greatest singer/songwriters to TV contestants who get their 15 minutes of fame by singing other people's songs.
Perhaps I look at this a bit too harshly, and then again, perhaps not.

....oh yes...this show is fabulous. I couldn't agree more with you...
What was with the Darwin chick? She looked like Courtney Love + 80 pounds...
Tragically Awesome!

I couldn't help but almost wet my pants when Simon told that girl she looked like she had a sunburn! I would be taking more than 17 "sips" of the Coca Cola if I was Paula and had to listen to some of those singers!

I'll admit I only watch the auditions, but sometimes I wonder if the producers purposely choose certian people to audition. And why do they focus more on the crappy people rather than the good people?

That show is such a train wreck. Paula has some serious issues...she needs help, or rehab.
People are idiots...

I just can't watch most "reality" TV including Idol. As a recovering shy person it is too painful to watch people humliliate themselves, especially where the producers intentionally show the most humiliating attempts and Simon pours gas on the humliliation funeral pyre.
Now, if you give me a show where we do nice things for people . . . say Extreme Makeover Home Edition and i'm all *verklempt* **sniff** I'm. so. happy.
