ice ice, go away..
yup. the midwest is getting hit.
still.
last night it wasn't NEAR as bad as everyone thought it was going to be, but this morning it doesn't seem to be getting any better.
this is what it looks like out my front door:
not bad, really. kinda pretty and very mild. it's been straight up raining here now for several hours though and if that all starts to freeze....
this is what radar looks like when i pop in my zipcode:
yeahhhh... not lookin' too good.
and less than 5 mintues ago half the limbs of the tree across the street from me sorta just... collapsed.
SO..

can i just say how much i'd really rather be in Texas right now?!
i mean... really.

Come on down, It's almost 80 in Houston today. I was sweating while putting up my Christmas lights yesterday. Nothing like shorts and flip-flops for Christmas!

Just got back from there. It was cold in the mornings there, too. Not as cold as where you are. But they have these ice storms that last a week. No one can leave their house. No one. It's weird.

Yup. 80 degrees, muggy and partly cloudy right now in H-Town. You just need to ensconce yourself in the medal room, grab the want adds, and get busy finding that job.

80 degrees Houston!? Ha! 82* in Orlando.
And then I got on a plane and flew to Boston. Bad move. Cold. Unhappy.
At least your ice is pretty to look at. In a frozen sorta way.

You wouldn't have to go to Texas. Right here in the VA we're in the 70's. The ice is pretty to look at but that's it.
