less than 100 days...
so we've officially entered double digits today...
99 days until the big race.
to prepare, i swam over a mile yesterday... (a first for me)... got on my bike for an hour and today will have to get in a run.
it. never. ends.
my legs feel like lead, my arms are surely going to rot out of their sockets and die, and the odds of me surviving 98 more days of this are...
well...
slim to nil.
so i just wanted to say...
its been nice knowing you all.
i think i'm going to go ahead and die.
Comments
dying won't do you any good. HTFU.
btw, congrats on the mile swim. i don't think i've swam(swum? swimmed?) that far in my life, and i live near the beach for GS.

Oh the drama of training. Something tells me this all is not as bad as you are making it out to be. :)

I know that feeling. The only thing that keeps me going is reading other blogs where people get a recovery week and then they start a hard week and say "I feel awesome!" Some day... some day.... hopefully some day soon.

you're gettin' stronger. i guarantee it. the pain will subside, and you're just gonna rock the next 99 days. and hey, if it makes you feel any better, you could be me looking at 78 days until ironman...

Have you seen the new Nike ad? "Our short runs used to be our long runs."
Training never gets easier, but endurance and speed come with time. Be patient and follow through.

You will do just fine. Dying won't be necessary!

There is no dying until AFTER we cross the finish line.
