The kitchen is the worst room in the house - always. You think it's nothing and you'll just stuff the pots and pans in a box and wrap the dishes and voila! done! And then... well there you are. It takes forever.
I hate moving. Hate.It.
But you are off on a huge life adventure so just keep thinking about that!

I always have to resist the urge to donate everything I own when I move.
Unfortunately, if you donate all your kitchen stuff, you soon realize you actually need some of it and just have to buy it back :-)
(But at least then you can get it in cute new colors!)

I'm fighting the urge to throw everything I own out the front window and put "yard sale" out front.
It's gunna be worth it chica :-)

Yea, I am trying to fit everything IN MY CAR. Crazy. AND I have to move out of my townhouse 10 days before I actually leave for TX. I'll be house-sitting, but does that mean I pack my car, then unpack, then pack again?? Yea, that sounds fun.
I guess what I'm sayin' is... I feels yo pain sistah.

Hey there!
Just catching up on your blog--this move sounds so exciting!! Moving always sucks and I agree that the kitchen is always the worst because it seems like there's always one more pile to stuff somewhere.
I'm looking forward to hearing about your adventures in a new city and wish you the best. If you come up to CO next season to race, drop a note and we'll try to find some good post-race margaritas again.
