5 miles
This morning I ran a 5 mile race in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. It was a rough first 2.5 miles but the second...flat and wonderful. I PRed by 2 minutes...40:54. I was also second in my age group. I need to start staying after the race because this is the second time this has happened and I didn't stay. I just didn't think that my time was that good to be 2nd in my age group. I was shocked to see a family friend from my hometown. He does live up in Akron now, but really not a runner. It was cool...his wife took a picture of us and is giong to send it my mom and his mom....funny things...
