Blog-o-versary Celebration!
I totally missed my blog-o-versary! It was Nov. 10 that I began my online journal of gallbladder disease, family, incessant ramblings and, oh yeah, running! It's been an interesting year, full of ups and downs, peaks and valleys, ebbs and flows. Incredible changes in my life, but one thing has remained - running. I've enjoyed spending time with all you folks, both the ones who leave comments, as well as the silent lurkers.
So let's celebrate! Leave a comment and let me know who you are - yes, even you silent folks! - how you found me - what keeps you coming back for more. I don't have nearly as many readers as I used to (sporadic posts and less time to comment to others brings fewer visitors), but for those of you still hanging out with me, I'd love to hear from you.
Oh yeah - and I got new shoes! Took 'em out for a 2.5 miler yesterday and a 5.5 miler this morning. Yummy, good. Can't wait to take 'em out on Sunday for 15 miles through the Tucson Mountains - get rid of that shiny white newness!

I believe your's was one of the first blogs I discovered last spring when I started doing reseach on training for ultra's. I'm glad I found you!

One of the things that keeps me coming back is that we both shared two REALLY BIG events this year. that being our first ultras and well.... we know what the other one was... I also think you were one of the first ultra blogs I came across.

I believe I found it by reading one of your comments on Olga's blog after I ran with her a bit that day.
Plus, I saw your picture on the Pemberton trail I believe. My brother had just run the 100 there and won!
Keep coming back because good writing no matter what the topic and your blog is so darn organized!

Happy Blog-a-versary Angie. I think I found you through Renee in Brooklyn (aka Femminist Runner) or perhaps it was the other way around. Doesn't matter. I still find a great deal of inspiration in your writing. You've been through a lot in the past year and I appreciate you taking the time to share it with the rest of us. It helps to put the everyday events that happen to all of us into perspecitive. Plus the quality of your writting is so very good.=
