"This is *so* not dumb"

-says Ash on our last day at the Grand Canyon.

We had a blast. The trip was everything I wanted - and more. I got to see Olga, hand out in cool weather, camp with my son, hike in the sun and enjoy life. Ash's little five-year-old legs made it down to the first resthouse on the Bright Angel Trail - and then back up the 1100 foot climb. I was so proud of him! We saw lots of bighorn sheep (even a couple rams!).

It's hard to have a bad weekend when I start out with a smile while driving past Flagstaff on Saturday afternoon watching the fall sun filter through the pine trees. Pure bliss.

Who said it's dumb? It never was!!! This is living! It was so-o great that you made it, and as always - friends are not necessary those who see each other every day, but those who when do meet up - easily pick up where they left off, however long ago it was. And remember - we are complete, you and I. Live it proudly. And thank you - I learned many lessons from you over the last almost 3 years. Oh, and Ash is really something else. Wish I could share more, but then again, you and I know:)

What a great time of year to visit. I can picture that fall light. Ash is such a cutie! Glad you had a great weekend. : )

Wow, that sounds like great fun! Ash is a machine - hiking down and back like that is awesome! I'm glad you had great weather.

sounds and looks really not dumb to me.

It was great meeting you and Ash this past weekend. You are a wonderful friend to Olga. It was very heartwarming see you and her naturally just pick up where you left off earlier in the year. Time apart doesn't affect the special connection of the friendship you each share. All the best!

The grand canyon rocks. Glad you had a great time.

Looks like so much fun, Angie. I wish I could have been there.
