Well, I'm finally feeling better and ready to start training again. The past few weeks have really gotten me thinking and made me realise that there is nothing to gain when you train whilst ill.
So, right, am off track for the Robin Hood Half Marathon, but we might still jog it slowly. In the meantime we have to work on a little bit of fitness again now. So we'll start with just doing our 25-30 minute runs again this week. Tonight actually.
Yesterday I went to relax in the sauna, but it didn't quite work out as I'd have liked. We meant to go for a swim, but the pool was occupied by the local swimming club, which meant we'd have had to wait another 40 minutes to get near the pool, and by then it would've been 9 o' clock. I had a long day, needed my rest and we decided to rather go home and just spend some time together. So tonight we'll run again.
