House Buying
This morning Andy had to be at work quite early due to his being on call and someone having to change a tape drive in one of their servers. I thought for a second I was going to escape being woken up, but he had other ideas. He woke me up at 6:00 AM, made me coffee, and placed it next to the already set-up bike.
So, I got up, got dressed and while waiting for the coffee to cool down, did my little bit of cycling while he went to work. Eventually I had the coffee on the bike, which gave me that little bit of a boost that I needed to not get off and crawl back into bed.
The sun came up brightly again this morning - outside there's a golden glow over the fields. It is almost blinding trying to open our front door, as the glass panels play with the light and throw them at you at all angles. I can't wait till we have a solid door which doesn't do that.
Did I mention that myself and Andy have been looking at buying a house? Yes, indeed, we have. And about 3 weeks ago, we found one! Its a lovely 4 bedroom house in Swadlincote (with a lot of storage space). We're not sure when we're moving in though, as the current owners are trying to find out when they can move into their new house. They only found one they liked in the past week, so I guess another 7 - 8 weeks.
The house is located next to a huge piece of land that belongs to the National Forest - it basically means they'll never build anything next to us :)
Now to go seek that shower...

ooh! how exciting! when we bought our first house, all the hills around us were government land as well and were heavily forested. it was beautiful and provided lots of fun adventures for us. hope you have the same experience!
