Red, Black and White
Last weekend I finallly started hunting for a new bike - I wanted something light, something comfortable and something pretty. At first I had a certain yellow Cannondale in my sights, but then I saw another ... and this afternoon a new family member joined the Bassitt household. She has yet to be named, I'm open to suggestions, but at the moment I'm fairly happy to look at her - tomorrow she'll get her first outing.
This afternoon I returned from a weekend at my in-laws. I had a dentist appointment this morning, but at 8h00 I was informed that my dentist was poorly and I had a day at my disposal that I wouldn't have had otherwise. I walked around some stores until I had to pick up my mother-in-law and we went for a wedding dress fitting. It didn't take nearly as long as I thought it would and I was at home by 17h00.
Andy treated me to some food before I finally made it out for a run. We settled into a relaxed pace and 50 minutes later we were done. That's all I have to say on that today. My legs didn't feel like they were running and neither was my brain.
Tomorrow I start my new job - I think I'm too tense about that to think much about anything else :)
