Finding a Pub
I'm sleepy. This morning at 8 I woke up to go run and in the end, I only got out the door at 9, but at least I did get out :)
Andy came along and we noticed that the area looks a lot different to the last time we went for a run here. Everywhere yellow and brown leaves make up a colourful portrait which at times makes you wonder whether you're not going to slip and slide across them instead of running. Fortunately we never fell down.
The course we took was a bit of a mix and match - I get so used to running the same courses over and over again that I sometimes forget that there are other routes that might take you to a new and exciting place (as exciting as the countryside can become). In today's case, it led us to a pub in Wilson - which we were quite thankful for. It meant that there was no cooking required at home.
We did of course finish our run first, got a shower and then went back to the pub, but it is one we weren't previously even aware existed. Now I know that they serve lovely cheesecake and will most probably go there a bit more often.
There is other more exciting news that I want to share, but in fear of jinxing the successful outcome of this particular piece of news, I'll not mention it just now. Hopefully I'll have more news on Monday :)
