Massage Therapy (or is it just Mental?)

Tonight I went to the gym after attending a rather painful session with a massage therapist.  She worked her magic on my back and by the time I walked away from her, I wasn't sure whether my back was healed or whether my mind just convinced me it was because I didn't want to go back.  I do enjoy going there, since I always feel great the day after, but during the massage itself, she has a way of inflicting pain in ways previously unknown to mankind.

At the gym I got on the treadmill as instructed and jogged for 20 minutes before getting off, stretching and making my way home to watch Cool Runnings for the millionth time while downing bottle after bottle after bottle of wholesome water (the filter jug is getting a proper workout these days).  The couch is really comfy after a long day and I'm looking forward to my swim session tomorrow - the last time I tried to swim I couldn't use my right arm without putting my back into spasm, so it should be fun to see how it goes tomorrow.  Its a 2400m session which should go quicker than normal.

I can't believe its only 6 months until IMUK.  It feels like the time is positively flying by and pretty soon I'm going to have to line up with the rest of the competitors and hope for the best.
