Today I have nothing to do. Quite literally. My diary is empty. I have no training scheduled. My brain gets to take a rest and I got to lie in this morning until 8am when something somewhere clicked and I realised that I had to get out of bed and get some movement going.
Peg-leg went to work a few minutes ago and then I started wondering why my legs have the slightest bit of stiffness in them.
Oh, I know. The 9pm easy run we did. Whatever was I thinking?!?
My sleeping patterns are returning to normal now, which means I wake up at 5:30am and go to bed at 10pm (or earlier), but for some reason or another we went for a 30 minute run at 9pm. I still managed to get to bed at 10pm and I slept pretty soundly, but this morning I snoozed until 8.
How to feed a dog
Last night we went to PM's house to get some instructions from FG on how to feed his dog, take him for a walk and how to get into the house on Sunday when we're popping in to make sure he's okay. They're out of town for the day and since it is a relatively new member to their family, they required some outside help to just go and reassure it that they have not abandoned it completely.
That's our Sunday then!
Long Rides and Runs
Tomorrow will be my first long ride in a while. I'm not exactly sure how this is going to turn out. Saturday is supposed to be freezing in our parts and I'm thinking that the trainer is starting to look like a good option - I'll just crank up the resistance a little to make sure that I'm getting enough exercise.
Sunday's planned run looks easier... and its not as long as I thought it would be. Its just an easy, less-than-an-hour-run and should give me a good excuse to get my legs loose.
Time to head to work. Its breakfast day!
