I fell asleep this morning after I snoozed the alarm for the x-th time and woke up just after 8. This meant peg-leg was late for work, but it being the 24th, I’m sure he’ll be forgiven for being a tad late.
My new passport arrived this morning; pity I have to give it up in a few months when I take that step towards becoming British. The new South African passports are completely ugly. I miss my old one already – it had a prettier emblem, felt more sturdy and definitely had a better passport picture :) (ah, the things that matter….) I have to find out what happens to my ILR (indefinite leave to remain) now. I know I have to get my passport stamped by a Border Agency person, but I’m not sure where I can take my passport to have that done. I don’t want to have to end up travelling with a million passports at a time.
Tonight we’re heading to Peg’s parents for the Christmas weekend.
