Rest Day
Thursday = Rest Day
I did do 20 push-ups and 20 sit-ups for breakfast.
Upcoming training:
Friday = Weight training
Saturday = Long run, about 3 hours
Sunday = At least an hour run, easy pace.

Jack .. I am just catching up on your blog ... so I'd like to respond to your post from yesterday.
First .. keep in mind that no matter how old you get, there will always be someone older out there running. Some of us are faster than others, but we are still running. The most inspirational 50+ runner I know is Mike (http://love2runcanada.blogspot.com/). Mike was already wicked fast compared to me yet he really kicked his training into high gear this year and smoked his previous marathon PR.
Second, rather than setting a numerical goal, you might also want to think about just changing your training approach (or process). My goal for this year was to focus on endurance. I didn't have any mileage number to reach and I would have never set a weekly mileage number as high as I achieved based on my past performance. Instead, taking the advice of several blogging buddies, I got really focused using the Pfitzinger "Advanced Marathoning" approach. By focussing on improving the training process, I hit PRs in every distance from 5K through 1/2 marathon this year.
3) As for your wife, I don't have any advice other than to make sure that you do your training such that it minimizes your time away from her. My wife doesn't even know I'm gone most of the time since I do most of my running while she is asleep.
Good luck and don't worry about getting old. Age really is a state of mind.

What a busy saturday, 3 hours on the road! In this moment I think you are resting in front of the tv.
