MELTING!
It is TOO DAMN HOT!!! 100 degrees with 100% humidity! and it is just going to get hotter, reaching up to 104 degrees on Thursday!
Needless to say I have been up early this week but even though I was gone by 7 or 7:30 this morning it was still VERY muggy and very hot! grrrrr....I need to move to San Diego where it is 75 degrees year round!
Despite the heat, the marathon training is proceeding as scheduled, an easy 7 miler yesterday and a hot and humid 8 mile run this morning (including 6 mile TEMPO at 9:00 / mile pace).
This week is an 18 mile run and I must say I am a bit intimidated. I know I can do it but it won't be easy especially with this heat!
I also have Windsurfing to look forward to this weekend! My friend found someone who gives lessons in the area so we are going for a day this weekend. This should be interesting and fun!
Happy Trails....

Well even Southern California has been hotter and more humid than usual, though not that bad I guess :)
The 18 miles will feel great when you accomplish that. Slow and easy is always good in the heat!
