B for effort, F for pace

Another LT run today, and it sucked just like the last one.

1 | 9:42
2 | 9:34 | 19:16
3 | 9:16 | 28:32
4 | 7:56 | 36:29
5 | 8:02 | 44:32
6 | 7:53 | 52:25
7 | 8:11 | 1:00:37
8 | 8:06 | 1:08:44
9 | 9:44 | 1:18:28
10 | 9:43 | 1:28:12
-------------------------------------------
10.02 miles | 1:28:27 | 8:49/mi.

Last time, I averaged 7:52 for 4 miles, today I averaged 8:02 for 5 miles. Just as a comparison:
Week 5: 7:36 for 4 miles
Week 8: 7:35 for 6 miles
Week 12: 7:35 for 7 miles

Which turned into:
Week 10: 1/2 marathon race 7:21/mi.
Week 18: marathon 8:15/mi.

So I'm averaging 20 seconds/mile slower now than I was over the summer (which was actually 15 sec/mile slower than the pace I was supposed to be running). This does not bode well. Maybe I should just scrap Boston (9 weeks away) and just do Med-City (15 weeks) instead. I'm still too slow, but I'd have more time to work on that.

I thought I was making a decent effort, but apparently that didn't translate into a decent pace. I'm having a bad week already.
