I forgot to publish my 2007 questionnaire/mileage tally, so I just did that now. 2007 was a really weird year for running, probably just the first of what I'm sure will be many to come. I found that I hadn't uploaded any of my 2007 training log summary pages, so I went to fix those and upload them. While doing so, I found that the site I had been using has made some changes that aren't very user-friendly. So I am in the process of moving the log over to blogger. It's a slow process, reformatting and posting 4 years worth of training.

I've also been updating my sport tracks log, so I've been looking through a lot of my previous training efforts. I am really itching to train for a marathon again! (Although I'd settle for getting to run a mile that started with anything under 10). If you don't count the months I didn't train for something while I was trying to get pregnant, I haven't been in training since June. I won't get the 6-week "all clear" to run until possibly May ... making it almost an entire year I'll have been out of the training loop. I would really love to run a fall marathon, but I don't know if that is at all a realistic goal (probably not). I probably should just set my sights on the local half-marathon in August if I want to try and run something long this year.

Moving on ... I reached 31 weeks yesterday, and I managed another 18 mile week. We're in the middle of some kind of freakish thaw right now, so with the warmer temperatures and melting snow I got to run outside both yesterday and today. Yesterday, I went the "long way" to the gym because they have a bathroom right by the door, so I figured I could just run in there to pee mid-way through my run. (The track club meets there for their group runs, so I know they don't care if you come in to use the bathroom). I am really starting to slow down ... the second half of my run was so much slower than the first. But I got in my 6 miles ... here are some scary pictures of me, post-run:

I don't know what's with the look on my face. Normally I'd delete pictures this bad, but whatever. I look gigantic in my running clothes.

Today was warmer, but I only ran 3 miles outside. I had thought about running 4, but I was feeling really uncomfortable. As the girls on the RW forums would say, my uterus was irritable. I probably would've been fine if I'd been running on flat ground, but my neighborhood has hills. I'm still not ready to scale back, although I know it won't be long before I need to.

This post is long enough, so maybe next time I'll write about our childbirth class and how I'm the biggest weirdo ever because not only do I still run, but I can't join in on the pregnancy complaint train. Here are my bare-belly 31 week pictures.

The belly grabbing one is funny to me ... I think I was saying something to the Engineer about how it looks like a basketball.
